Our small, in-house classes are perfect as part of your injury rehab or simply to help keep fit and flexible. They are taken by experienced physiotherpists or by fully qualified and experienced teachers.
We can also provide bespoke classes for small groups on request that are specific to a certain sport, activity or lifestyle. Some examples of this might be shoulder stability for tennis players, back stability for golfers, shoulder flexibility for swimmers, hip/ pelvic control for runners and postural and sitting advice/education for desk based employees.
BACK FIT
The back fit class is a cost-effective, time-efficient way to get educated about all the issues to do with your back!
You will gain knowledge in the anatomy and basic biomechanics of your back and be educated how you can help yourself with postural management and an extensive exercise regime.
The class is broken down into three four week blocks: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced (Performance Sport). It is advised that everybody starts at the beginning so that you truly understand the philosophy of the approach that is being used but you don’t have to do all three blocks.
At the end of this process you should not only be much more knowledgeable about your back but be able to manage your posture optimally as well as perform and progress an appropriately graded exercise regime.

Yoga
There are many forms of Yoga. The type of Yoga we practice here at Life Fit Physiotherapy is Hatha Yoga. Hatha yoga is a steady-paced stretching class with concentrated breathing and poses.
We feel that this type of Yoga fits in with our clients perfectly and under the guidance of our onsite Yoga instructor Sandy Martin it is a great way to increase your flexibility and core stability.
