Being the proud Mum of International Athlete Lee McConnell, Linda has a unique insight and understanding of the world of fitness and training. Linda has travelled around the world supporting Lee as she competed in 3 Olympics Games, (Lee not Linda!) and numerous World, European and Commonwealth Games.

Linda’s business skills stem from a successful career as a Finance Manager with Glasgow City Council. Over the years she has managed teams of staff woking on front line customer care and joined Life Fit after taking voluntary redundancy from GCC.   

Like her daughter, keeping fit and exercise is an importing part of Linda’s life working out with a group of friends 3 times a week, but she loves nothing better than meeting up with friends at the weekend to sample some fine cuisine and perhaps a wee glass of wine.  

Supporting Lee has given Linda the travelling bug and she has walked on the Great Wall of China, climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge and scuba dived at the Great Barrier Reef.  Next there is only one important date on the calendar, Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014!
